Recently dear ol' Steve and Craig (creators of the Pretender, for those drawing a blank) had an interview with "Slice Of SciFi.com" regarding a new project they've completed, a mini-series called "Tin Man".

In the interview they were asked about The Pretender, this is what they said...(Pay very close attention to the end of Craig's ("CVS") looong bit and the stuff after that.)

Oh, and for those who want to read the whole interview go here: http://www.sliceofs cifi.com/ 2007/09/07/ sosf-interview- with-the- tin-man-creators -steven-long- mitchell- and-craig- van-sickle/

Pretender Discussion

I can't help but wonder what everyone's favorite first season episode is and why.

My personal 1st season episode is Keys just because Miss Parker and Jarod end up really having to deal with each other face to face. Before this episode, they caught glimpses of one another or simply spoke on the phone. In Keys, they had to actually work (well a little) together.

I'm also a big fan of Dragon House only because I loved Kyle and loved that Jarod finally had some family!

Pretender Discussion

"I don't know if anyone has brought this up before (if so I'm sorry), but I was wondering how Mr. Parker can be Baby Parker's father when Mr. Parker supposedly can't have children (in IOTH they say he's sterile and Miss Parker and Lyle are Raines's biologically)?"

What do you think?
Who is baby Parker's real father?
  1. Mr. Parker: Some kind of weird Centre experiment enabled him to have a kid
  2. Lyle: Brigitte and he spent way too much time together and then there was that scene Broots had to witness
  3. Probably not even a Parker but some special child the Centre planes to control
